    Good at the start, becoming a nightmare!!

    Around Easter time I purchased a Ford Galaxy from this dealer for my daughter. The business owner was a pleasant man; it was a nicely polished vehicle, clean inside. I agreed a price, had a quick drive around, paid a deposit and received one month’s major parts warranty (which basically covered engine and gearbox). However, on collection, there was no wheel locking nut, no owners Handbook, Radio Code missing, and only 1 ignition key. Not a big deal I thought, as I acquired a handbook, for £10, wheels cost £30 to sort, key £150 to duplicate and 40 for new code. After 2 weeks the big problems started! New break pad and discs required, fuel line leak, Instrument Cluster display cutting off, and an exhaust section dropped off. There was also some loose engine mountings, and the climate control is poor. Total bill so far approx. £1,300!! Ok, it was a used car with a 12 months MOT (how the breaks got through I don’t know!), but for just under £4,000 I would have expected better!

    Buyer beware - Warranty issues

    I bought a car here in December and within days something weird happened where the car would not drive. I called the dealership and he told me to restart the car and it worked fine for a around 10 days before the fault reappeared again. After leaving it overnight the car worked fine for another week until the fault came back and this time it would not clear. I phoned the dealership to let them know of the fault because it was still in warranty, I had only driven it for a total of 3 weeks at that point. Having taken the car to a general mechanic as I wasn’t sure what was wrong with it, the mechanic told me that it would not go into first gear, and I sent this info to the dealer who then insisted that I have the diagnostic done again with a “proper” garage as he thought it might be an oil issue and not the gearbox. At my own personal cost again, I took it to a vehicle transmissions Center where they confirmed the fault as a gearbox problem along with other engine issues. Luckily I ha

    A waste of time

    Car was not ready when I arrived, then he made some excuse about a noisy gearbox being fixed. This did not say this on the advert. Waste of time.
